In late 1996 we began the most important of all studies in the
Scripture: the life of Christ. The series went on through April of
1998- from which you can observe that we were not using anyone's quarterly.
The teacher arbitrarily chose to begin the study at the baptism by
John. This seemed convenient at the time, as it avoided studying Christmas
in September. No significance should be attached to this; we do in
fact believe in the Incarnation (praise the Lord!).
