Those employed by large corporations will know the labor of
devising "mission statements" and "corporate values."
Management theory seems to require this exercise.
Our church, Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton, California,
has created a set of three Core Values. There is a graphic
posted on many of the walls of the church that proclaims these three
items:
It seemed good, therefore, to produce a series of lessons which
outline what the Scripture says about these three items.
