"We preach Christ crucified.” It is the
center of the Gospel message, and it is the center of Paul’s
message:

It is an act of power – and
the Apostle shares in this power. To him is granted the
power to heal the sick, for example – so that the Gospel
message will be seen for what it is.

It is an act of grace – and
the Apostle is the ambassador of grace.
